John Stiles

ohn Stiles has built his real estate career around one core belief: people deserve honest guidance, clear communication, and someone who genuinely cares about the outcome of their investment and real estate decisions.

His journey into real estate began after experiencing poor customer service as a tenant. Convinced there had to be a better way to serve people in housing and property management, John earned his Minnesota real estate license in 2010 and joined a small property management company in South Minneapolis. Over the next several years, he gained hands-on experience leasing and managing hundreds of rental properties throughout the Twin Cities while developing a strong foundation in customer service, property operations, negotiations, and investment analysis.

As his experience grew, John transitioned into helping clients buy and sell real estate, working with traditional homeowners, investors, short sales, bank-owned properties, and multifamily transactions. His background in property management and real-world investing gives him a unique perspective that many agents simply do not have. He understands not only how to buy and sell properties, but also how properties perform over time from an ownership and cash-flow standpoint.

Over the years, John has continued to specialize in multifamily and investment real estate throughout the Twin Cities market. He has worked closely with investors to identify opportunities, analyze properties, negotiate favorable terms, and navigate complex transactions with confidence and clarity.

In 2021, John founded the Twin Cities Multifamily team to better serve the growing needs of multifamily investors. After further specializing in apartment and investment real estate in the years that followed, he launched Peritus Real Estate as the underlying brokerage in 2026.

Peritus — a Latin word meaning experienced, skilled, and well-versed — reflects the approach John brings to every client relationship. He believes real estate is more than a transaction. It is a decision that impacts finances, families, and long-term goals. Through Peritus Real Estate, John focuses on providing experienced guidance, honest advice, and relationships built on trust long after the closing table.

In addition to serving clients, John is also an active real estate investor and business owner. His entrepreneurial background and practical experience allow him to provide thoughtful insight, steady leadership, and a relationship-first approach to every transaction.

John lives in Inver Grove Heights with his wife, Cassie, their four children, two dogs, and a small flock of backyard chickens. Together, John and Cassie own and operate several businesses, including a local coffee shop, a marketing agency, and rental properties throughout the Twin Cities. Outside of real estate, they are actively involved in their church community and enjoy building businesses, serving others, and creating lasting relationships both personally and professionally.
