It’s called the “Agency Relationships In Real Estate Transactions” disclosure, and “Minnesota law requires that early in any relationship, real estate brokers or salespersons discuss with consumers what type of agency representation or relationship they desire.”
You’re signature on this document does not commit you to work with me. It simply acknowledges that you have received the information.
You may be saying to yourself, “What’s up with all the legal jargon? I just want to buy/sell a property.” As it turns out, any real estate transaction is a legal transaction and it’s important for you to understand the many legal aspects involved.
